Meet Our Team
Cindy Morris
MA, LPC-S, NCC, EMDR Certified, EMDR Consultant, ASSECT Certified Sex Therapist
I enjoy working with clients who are navigating the effects of developmental trauma (physical, sexual and emotional abuse) as well as those who are experiencing grief, anxiety, anger and relational issues.
I view my role to be that of a listener, supporter, encourager, and advocate. With me, you can expect to be heard and validated – while also challenged as we work to bring healing and create new patterns and beliefs.
Working with couples is one of the highlights of my job! I enjoy helping them communicate better, negotiate differences, and improve their sex life. I work with couples using Relational Life Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Restoration Therapy. I am an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (ASSECT) Certified Sex Therapist. Because I truly love this work, I am currently working to strengthen my professional foundation by earning my Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology.
I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 38 years and am blessed with 3 adult children, a son-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. I have been a community leader with National Charity League and local philanthropies and churches for 20 years. This passion for helping people learn, grow, and heal eventually led me to pursue counseling.
